Settings and Preferences

Customize Jetson to match your workflow. Here's a complete guide to all available settings.

Account settings

Profile

  • Email address - Your login email
  • Display name - How you appear to teammates
  • Avatar - Your profile picture

Access via Settings > Account.

Theme

Toggle between light and dark mode:

  1. Click the theme toggle in the sidebar
  2. Your preference is saved automatically

Product settings

Each product (HelpScout mailbox) has its own settings.

Basic info

  • Product name - Display name in Jetson
  • Description - What your product does
  • Core goal - Primary use case

Priority definitions

Define what High, Medium, and Low priority mean:

Example definitions:

  • High: Security vulnerabilities, data loss, payment failures, system outages
  • Medium: Features broken for some users, significant performance issues
  • Low: Minor UI issues, cosmetic bugs, edge cases

These definitions guide AI classification.

Custom work ticket instructions

Add up to 1000 characters of custom instructions for how Jetson generates bug reports and feature requests:

Examples:

  • "Always include steps to reproduce for bug reports"
  • "Format acceptance criteria as checkboxes"
  • "Include the affected user segment"
  • "Add severity tags based on customer tier"

Team settings

Members

View and manage team members:

  • See who has access
  • View their role (Admin/Member)
  • Remove members if needed

Pending requests

When someone connects with matching mailboxes:

  1. They appear as pending
  2. Approve or deny their access
  3. Approved members join your organization

Invites

Invite teammates by email:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email
  4. They receive an invitation link

Pending invites can be cancelled before acceptance.

Integration settings

HelpScout

  • Connection status - Connected/Disconnected
  • Webhook status - Active/Inactive

  • Linked repository - Which repo to create issues in

Billing settings

Current plan

Jetson is $99/month with:

  • Unlimited conversations
  • Unlimited team members
  • All features included

Manage subscription

Click Manage Billing to:

  • Update payment method
  • View invoices
  • Cancel subscription

This opens the Stripe billing portal.

Settings hierarchy

Settings apply at different levels:

Organization settings affect all team members. Personal settings affect only you.
